A bird count is carried out at our Hauxley reserve five days a week, and at the other Druridge Bay reserves once a week. Counts are completed by volunteers based at Hauxley, with records dating back to 1983.
The pdf downloads below are a record of sightings on Fridays at Druridge Bay. At our Hauxley Visitor Centre there is also a display board updated with sightings daily. It shows a complete bird list for Hauxley and highlights from the other reserves, and also contains information on mammals and wild flowers. You can also view the annual bird count 2012 for Hauxley.
