Kevin investigates for the BBC
2nd March, 2010
Kevin O’Hara, conservation officer with Northumberland Wildlife Trust turned investigative reporter recently, when, with just a cameraman for company, he headed off into rural Northumberland to record an 8 minute film for the BBC’s Inside Out programme.
Kevin was on a mission to find out how wildlife had been affected by the severe winter. His research took him to Holy Island, Hauxley and the top of Whitelee Moor and involved him interviewing John Wilson, a farmer at Whitelee, and Tom Cadwallender and Brian Galloway - both valuable volunteers with the British Trust for Ornithology.
