Northumberland Wildlife Trust will be hosting its third Bothal Woods Halloween Fun Run on Sunday 28 October.

The event, which is guaranteed to be a spooky load of fun, starts at 10.30am and will see runners and walkers tackling a 3.5-mile off road trail, starting at Bothal Bridge and ending in Morpeth. There will be a prize for the most scarily dressed male and female and also the winner.

The run was the brainchild of Lee Ford, a part-time fitness instructor from Stakeford in Northumberland and many previous runners have already signed up again to take part.

There is an entry fee of £5 per runner, or alternatively runners can opt to raise a minimum of £15 sponsorship; all money raised will help fund the Trust’s valuable conservation work throughout the region.

For more information on how to enter plus the entry and sponsorship forms, visit the events section of our website.

Runners under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
