Dare you join us this Halloween?

The first Bothal Woods Halloween Fun Run takes place in the small woods from Bothal to Morpeth on the morning of Sunday 31st October 2010 from 10.30am.

The run will follow an off road and often muddy 5km course through the woods, beginning at Bothal Bridge and ending in the town of Morpeth.

The idea behind the run is simple, to enjoy a fun and messy run, whilst raising a little money for a local charity, and while there won't be prizes for the first runner past the post, there will be a prize for the best fancy dressed male and female.

Anyone and everyone is invited to take part in this event either by running or walking the course and full details of the run are available from Lee Ford (race organiser), so if you’re interested in taking part please contact Lee as soon as possible, as spaces are limited.

To take part in this event, please download the entry form and return it to;
Mr L Ford, Paramount Gymnasium, Glebe Road, Bedlington, Northumberland, NE22 6JT.

Please also help us by downloading and printing the Bothal Woods Halloween Fun Run poster, and placing it up at work or college. Also download the sponsorship form here.

The run will raise money for Northumberland Wildlife Trust, a charity which exists to protect local wildlife and habitats and to educate and inspire everyone to care for the environment.

This run will be full of spooky fun while at the same time raising money for a great local cause and is definitely a date for your diary in the late autumn.

For more information on the run, please email us or join our Facebook group (The Bothal Woods Halloween Fun Run)
