The historian and broadcaster will be hosting live-streamed Geography classes as part of the BBC Bitesize Daily learning series focused on offering at-home education.

Speaking about Sir David’s generous support, Mike Pratt, Northumberland Wildlife Trust Chief Executive says: “Geography was my favourite subject at school and college especially physical geography where you learn about how earth processes make our world.

“Who better to teach geography from his vast experience and unique perspective than Sir David Attenborough, a life-long supporter of Northumberland Wildlife Trust? He is someone with a great overview of our dynamic planet and our human interaction with it over millennia. Even if you don’t like geography it’s got to be worth tuning into him teaching it!”

It’s almost a dead cert that is won’t just be children watching the wildlife legend via BBC iPlayer and the BBC Red Button.
