Wildlife charity in chocolate heaven

Northumberland Wildlife Trust is absolutely delighted to welcome Cabosse as its latest silver category corporate supporter.

Based in Warkworth the independently owned confectionery, homeware and gift shop has been creating hand made fresh cream chocolates based on recipes developed in-house since 2008.  Its owner Louise Keeble also supports local companies by selling their gift novelties and souvenirs including Northumbrian made natural and organic soaps made from Todburn Farm goats milk.

Nestling under the watchful eye of Warkworth Castle, Cabosse is a popular stop off point for visitors and locals alike. The amazing shop on Dial Place, is a short drive to the wildlife charity’s equally amazing five Druridge Bay reserves: East Chevington, Druridge Pools, Creswell Foreshore, Cresswell Pond and Hauxley.

Famous for its dazzling display of products, Cabosse’s mail order business, has gone from strength to strength since covid and its lockdowns, with its selection of chocolate hampers, greetings cards and figurines.

Louise Keeble, Cabosse owner and creator of chocolate magic says: “By joining and supporting Northumberland Wildlife Trust we will be supporting its projects around the county as we work tirelessly to promote more sustainable and nature friendly business practices at Cabosse.  The support of our customer is really supporting this good cause.”

Mike Pratt, Northumberland Wildlife Trust Chief Executive says: “Who doesn’t like chocolate? And of course, many people like going out into nature where they get to see wildlife and just relax.

“Maybe the ideal is to combine both and enjoy quality chocolate in the great outdoors! Well, that natural partnership is even more possible now that Cabosse has joined the Trust as a corporate supporter.  What a perfect recipe.”
