Corporate partnerships

Greggs the Baker
Greggs the Baker helped raise £1000 for the Hauxley fire appeal through sales of a limited run of red squirrel gingerbread biscuits which were sold in 52 of their shops across the region. Read more

Mears
Social housing and maintenance company Mears stepped in to help the Trust following an arson attack which destroyed our visitor centre and observation hide at Hauxley. Mears cleared the site of the burned out building and converted and fitted out the disused toilet block into a temporary visitor centre saving the Trust around £8,000. Read more

Nestlé
New corporate members Nestlé have joined forces with the Trust on an exciting project to engage staff and their families and encourage native wildlife to return to the Fawdon factory site. Read more

Northumbrian Water
Northumbrian Water have demonstrated their commitment to local wildlife by donating two vehicles to the Trust, delivering training to NWT staff and sponsoring a conservation post a Kielder.

People’s Postcode Lottery
We are delighted to receive fantastic support through our high profile partnership with People’s Postcode Lottery. To date the relationship has raised £318,939 and provided a unique platform for boosting awareness as well as contributing vital funds for our work. Read more

Shasun
Shasun and Northumberland Wildlife Trust have been working together on the continuing development of a wildlife haven at its Cramlington site based on a shared commitment to the protection and restoration of the environment in their local communities.

Tarmac Ltd
Tarmac Ltd are long-term supporters of the Trust and this year have sponsored a number of special events to celebrate the Trust’s 40th Anniversary as well as working in partnership to develop a schools biodiversity award programme.

National Partnerships

Aggregate Industries
Aggregate Industries and The Wildlife Trusts have been working together since 2006. The company works closely with individual Wildlife Trusts to enhance and protect the land in and around operational areas and also supports collective projects. Read more

Ribena
The Wildlife Trusts work in partnership with Ribena and their blackcurrant growers to help wildlife by providing habitat in and around the blackcurrant fields used to grow fruit for Ribena. This includes planting trees and hedges, leaving field margins and providing nest boxes. Read more

Vine House Farm
Vine House Farm are one of the UK’s leading bird food manufacturers. They grow the vast majority of their bird food on their conservation award-winning farm in south Lincolnshire and donate 5% of the value of any order to the customer's local Wildlife Trust. Read more
