Do you have what it takes to take the challenge of the Great North Run and make a difference for local wildlife?

The Great North Run, was first staged in 1981 where just over 12,000 people took part. This year, the world's biggest half marathon took place on Sunday 9 September and taking an estimated 57,000 participants on a 13.1 mile journey from the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne to the coast in South Shields. With this year's ballot now open, why not guarantee your place to raise funds for Northumberland Wildlife Trust and avoid the luck of the draw? Please contact Laura Jobling laura.jobling@northwt.org.uk or call us on (0191) 284 6884 for more info or to register.

Thank you so much to all our amazing runners for taking on the challenge in 2017 - we are so grateful! And thank you to everyone that supported through sponsorship or by cheering on the bright green badger t-shirts on the day. This year we raised nearly £3,500 so really well done! Let's see if we can beat that for 2018!
