How you can help

Our local wildlife needs you, and by doing something small you can become part of something big. We rely on your support, and there are a variety of ways you can make a difference.

Whilst we offer a fantastic membership programme for all the family, and gratefully accept donations, there are other ways you can support us, and enable us to continue our vital conservation work.

Volunteer with us

Our volunteers really are the lifeblood of our Trust, giving their time, energy and endless enthusiasm, come rain or shine.

Perhaps you are able to volunteer your time with us? There are opportunities to work on our many reserves around the region, help at our offices in Gosforth, or even assist at seasonal events and activities. Whatever your skills and experience, we would be pleased to welcome you to the team!

Leave a legacy

We are working hard to protect wildlife and wild places, covering every part of nature that makes our region so special. A lasting legacy is a fantastic way to offer extended and vital support, for future generations to continue to enjoy.

No matter how small, leaving something to us in your Will really has a positive impact. The combined generosity of those who have remembered us in their Wills adds up to something truly amazing.

Support our appeals

We launch regular appeals, targeted at raising money for specific areas we feel needs special attention. Our appeals are always ongoing, and donations are always appreciated. You can donate in a number of ways, and large or small, whatever you are able to give will make a real difference.

Corporate support

We work alongside a wide range of businesses across the region, and are always exploring new ways to develop partnership work. There are numerous opportunities for your company to get involved, from joining our corporate membership scheme to developing a tailored partnership.

Merchandise

Browse our exciting online shop to stock up on wildlife-themed gifts, or perhaps just a little treat to yourself! From flower identification guides to wildlife walks (and not forgetting the fluffy toys!), we guarantee you will be unable to resist our expanding selection of merchandise.

The list is endless...

There are limitless ways you can offer support to Northumberland Wildlife Trust:

Visit our Spend and Raise site to grab some brilliant online bargains - remember, anything you buy means the Trust receives a donation, at no extra cost to yourself!

Join one of our many Local Groups, who offer their own membership programmes, and run lots of interesting walks, talks and activities throughout the year.

Why not run a sponsored event on our behalf? Last year saw the launch of the hugely successful Halloween Bothal Woods Fun Run, organised by Lee Ford, a keen supporter of NWT.

Maybe you would like to join the People's Postcode Lottery, for the chance to win money and great prizes, whilst also supporting the Trust. PPL are our largest sponsor, providing ongoing support and promotion of our work.

If you would like to get involved, and support our work, please contact us to discuss your ideas!
