Our local wildlife needs you, and by doing something small you can become part of something big. We rely on your support, and there are a variety of ways you can make a difference.
Whilst we offer a fantastic membership programme for all the family, and gratefully accept donations, there are plenty of other ways you can support our work.
Volunteer with us
Our volunteers really are the lifeblood of our Trust, giving their time, energy and endless enthusiasm to a variety of tasks, come rain or shine. We have several opportunities for volunteering, from helping on our reserves to conducting surveys, assisting at events or working in our Gosforth offices. Whatever your skills and experience, we would be pleased to welcome you to the team!
Leave a legacy
We are working hard to protect wildlife and wild places, covering every part of nature that makes our region so special. A lasting legacy is a fantastic way to offer extended and vital support, for future generations to continue to enjoy.
No matter how small, leaving something to us in your Will really has a positive impact. The combined generosity of those who have remembered us in their Wills adds up to something truly amazing.
Support our appeals
We launch regular appeals, targeted at raising money for specific areas we feel needs special attention. Our appeals are always ongoing, and donations are always appreciated. You can donate in a number of ways, and large or small, whatever you are able to give will make a real difference.
Corporate support
We work alongside a wide range of businesses across the region, and are always exploring new ways to develop partnership work. There are numerous opportunities for your company to get involved, from joining our corporate membership scheme to developing a tailored partnership.

Browse our exciting online shop to stock up on wildlife-themed gifts, or perhaps just a little treat to yourself! From flower identification guides to wildlife walks (and not forgetting the fluffy toys!), we guarantee you will be unable to resist our expanding selection of merchandise.
Visit our (Give as you live) page, to raise money for us simply by doing your online shopping! Thousands of retailers give a percentage to charity when you shop this way, at no extra cost to yourself!

There are limitless ways you can offer support to Northumberland Wildlife Trust:
Join one of our many Local Groups, who offer their own membership programmes, and run lots of interesting walks, talks and activities throughout the year.
Cleaners for Causes make a 15% donation to us when you use their dry cleaning or laundry services and request our charity for them to donate to.
Why not run fundraise for us, or run a sponsored event on our behalf? Fundraising is an easy and fun way to spread our message and raise lots of money for NWT!
