At Northumberland Wildlife Trust, people are at the heart of everything we do. We recognise that working with local communities to enable access to wildlife, raise awareness of environmental issues and education is essential to our vision of creating an environment rich in wildlife for everyone.
We believe that everyone should have the chance to enjoy and learn more about the natural world. For some it is practical conservation work or attending training courses to learn more about wildlife, whilst for others it is a walk on a spectacular nature reserve on a crisp morning, or perhaps it is that first encounter with wildlife as a child dips their net into a rock pool or pond.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust offers all these experiences and more. Whether you are an individual, a family, part of a school or community group, if you would like to become more involved with wildlife, please browse through our menus on the left to see what we can offer you. We run a range of volunteering tasks and conduct walks, talks and activities for all ages and backgrounds.
