We want every volunteer to have a great experience with us, and we work hard to make sure your time is spent well, learning new skills and meeting like-minded people across a range of activities.

You get a real sense of doing something worthwhile and you’re always valued and thanked for your efforts.

NWT Volunteer

  • We organise a range of training opportunities for current volunteers, from brushcutting to species surveying techniques - you can learn a new skill or brush up on your existing knowledge!

  • We produce a bi-monthly dedicated Volunteer E-Newsletter (Call of the Wild) which details latest NWT developments, feedback on volunteer tasks, upcoming events and opportunities, and more.

  • We want you to get to know us, starting with Lou Chapman, our Volunteer Co-Ordinator. As you begin volunteering with us, you will meet staff across a number of our teams, and we'll make you feel very welcome!

  • If you have any questions that we haven't answered, feel free to get in touch with us by emailing volunteer@northwt.org.uk.
