Northumberland Wildlife Trust owns or manages over 60 nature reserves across the county. By working with landowners, local businesses and communities we aim to restore, recreate and reconnect fragmented natural habitats to achieve a 'living landscape' where wildlife can flourish, and people can lead happier and healthier lives, engaging with the natural environment.
We are one of 47 Wildlife Trusts throughout the UK who together manage 2,300 nature reserves. These include heathlands, meadows, ancient woodlands, islands, beaches, moorland and mountains.
