Skylarks are back in abundance at Weetslade Country Park, which is welcome news to Northumberland Wildlife Trust - but a plea has been issued.
Northumberland Wildlife Trust ended 2019 and started 2020 sprucing Weetslade Country Park in preparation for visitors flocking to the site this spring.
A group of 60 pupils from Amberley Primary School in Killingworth escaped the classroom recently and went wild on a North Tyneside nature reserve.
