An illustrated talk by Kevin O'Hara from The Vincent Wildlife Trust on pine martens in the North of England.
Why not join us at an event? You might learn to identify wildflowers, hear experts talk about their wildlife experiences, join a minibeast safari or do some campfire cooking.
We have a comprehensive listing of wildlife events in Northumberland, run by ourselves (NWT), our local groups and partner organisations. Key things to remember:
- all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- many events take place outdoors so please dress appropriately. We will only cancel due to severe weather, so please provide a contact telephone number for the day of the event should we need to reach you.
- a few events are for members only, but NWT and our local groups are always pleased to welcome newcomers.
If we need to cancel an NWT event, we will endeavour to reschedule it for an alternative date. If the alternative date is not convenient, all monies paid to us will be refunded in full. If you find that you need to cancel your booking for an NWT event and it is up to 7 days before the event, a full refund will be made minus a 10% admin fee. If you cancel your place less than 7 days before the day of the event, unfortunately we will not be able to make a refund. If you have any queries regarding any of our events or our policies please contact us on (0191) 284 6884 during office hours, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A talk from Janet Simkin, a consultant ecologist, who is an expert on whin grasslands and was the major hands-on adviser on the on-going development of the grassland roof at The Sill.
