About the event

We're joining Cramlington and District Red Squirrel Group to support ongoing monitoring of reds in the woodland. We'll be making monitoring boxes to support red squirrel conservation.

This is a drop in event, so come at any time during the day. It will take around 45 minutes to make a monitoring box. No expertise needed we'll have helpers on hand for any tricky bits and boxes will be made from preprepared kits.

Please note: we will have a limited number of kits with us so there is a limit of one box per family. Completed boxes will be donated to Cramlington and District Red Squirrel Group to help with monitoring efforts locally.

If you are joining us by car, the public car park is free but has limited spaces so please park responsibly.

Please wear outdoor clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy shoes. All tools and PPE will be provided.

Dogs are welcome.

Age 8+.

This event is a drop in and booking is not required but if you know you are going to join us please register to help us keep track of numbers/boxes needed, thank you.
