How we're funded
We actively seek funding from many different sources to support both operational costs and our conservation and education projects.
We are a membership organisation and currently have over 11,000 members who generously support our work on a regular basis.
Our corporate members and supporters come from many different business sectors including tourism, construction, extraction, manufacturing, education and services. Companies get involved in a number of ways from becoming corporate members, donating in kind, running joint promotions, sponsorship or nominating the Trust as Charity of the Year.
Our work is funded by many other partners including local authorities, government agencies, People’s Postcode Lottery, The National Lottery Heritage Fund and many charitable trusts and grants.
And of course, volunteers support us by giving their time, enthusiasm and energy.
