Join Northumberland Wildlife Trust and Pride Action North for this inclusive and family friendly event.
Come and get a whole new perspective on the natural world around us! From fungi and forests, to woodlice and wild oysters, the natural world is full of beauty and diversity.
Stalls - Enjoy a selection of stalls and activities from local groups and organisations such as Pride Action North, TopSoil, Koast Radio, and North East Museums!
Mindfulness Activities - From forest bathing to soundmapping, the natural world can help us calm our minds and connect with ourselves and the world around us. Join us for a selection of activities for our wellbeing.
BioBlitz with NHSN - Get up close and personal with the minibeasts in the forest! Learn more about these surprpising and unique wiggly creatures.
iNaturalist - We'll teach you how to use Seek by iNaturalist, an app to help you identify plants and animals, so you can become an expert nature detective! We recommend downloading the Seek by iNaturalist app before you come along.

11:00 - 12:00 is our quiet hour for people who require a less busy environment. Great for children with additional or sensory needs. There will be space to explore the activities in a calm environment. If you arrive early you are welcome to enjoy our café or the reserve before the main session opens at 12:00.
Parking is limited so please walk, cycle or make use of public transport where possible. If you have any accessibility concerns or if getting to the event would be a barrier, please get in touch and we may be able to assist with transport or costs.
Whilst this is a drop-in event, please register your interest so we know how many to expect on the day.
Suitable for ages 4+, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
