About the event

This woodland trail is aimed at primary school-age children and is created by sixth-form students from the local community at Cramlington Learning Village to celebrate '2026 National Year of Reading'.

In addition, around the Lady of the North are creative writings and book recommendations suitable for secondary age young people and adults to explore their love of reading and nature.

There will also be a book borrow/swap cabinet near the café for books for all ages (ideally nature themed) so people can bring their own books along with them to swap.

This all takes place outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. Age 4+.

Part of our Championing Nature Project, a new programme aimed at creating positive, lasting impact in urban communities through greater connections and engagement with nature. Made possible by Wimbledon and Emirates partnership.
