Great North Run 2026 – thank you Team NWT!

A huge congratulations and thank you to all of our fantastic runners who took on the Great North Run for Northumberland Wildlife Trust on Sunday 13 September 2026.

Our 15 runners took on the challenge to raise vital funds for wildlife and wild places across the region, and what an incredible year it has been!

Together, our runners have already raised over £12,000 including Gift Aid for Northumberland Wildlife Trust and the Rothbury Estate Appeal, with donations still coming in. This makes 2026 our most successful Great North Run fundraiser yet!

A huge thank you to every one of our runners for all of the training, fundraising and determination that went into taking on the challenge, and to everyone who donated and supported them along the way.

There’s still time to support Team NWT and help us add even more to this amazing total.

All of our charity places for the 2026 Great North Run have now been filled and the race has taken place, but we’ll be back again next year!
