Head to Northumberlandia for wildlife magic this December

If the thought of visiting a shopping centre at this time of year gives you a headache, why not visit Northumberlandia in Cramlington on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December (between 10am - 4pm) and have some relaxing festive fun with Northumberland Wildlife Trust?

As part of the Northumberlandia Christmas Weekend, volunteers will be raising funds for the wildlife charity by offering children the opportunity to head off on a magical bauble trail through the woods, collecting clues along the way with a prize at the end of it.

There will also be arts and craft sessions including bauble painting and decoration making, a festive tombola and the opportunity to become a Northumberland Wildlife Trust member - all set against the Lady of the North.

The Trust’s café will be open and selling hot chocolate, Christmas scones, sandwiches and cakes.

Elsewhere, around the site there will be stalls selling Christmas gifts, carol singing, mulled wine and mince pies, carnival rides, children’s activities, rescue huskies and alpacas.
