Our vision
To protect vulnerable pockets of wildlife habitat through excellent management and nature reserve expansion, ensuring local residents and visitors can easily access nature-rich space close to home. This access will contribute to community and individual health and well-being through recreational enjoyment, learning and participation in conservation.

How are we achieving this vision?
We are constructing a long-term plan to safeguard, grow and promote our nature reserves, building partnerships with other land managers, development and planning authorities.
Current partnership project focuses include:
- Northumberlandia - a unique piece of public art set in a 46 acre community park with free public access and 4 miles of footpaths on and around the landform.
