Introduction to owls and owl pellets

Location: Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre, Hauxley Nature Reserve, Low Hauxley, Northumberland, NE65 0JR
This workshop covers the owls of the UK, their identification, biology and ecology followed by a session on owl pellet dissection where we will learn how to identify and record the contents of a pellet.

About the event

Bring a notebook and pen if you have one. Equipment and guidebooks provided.

This is an adult only workshop, part of the new Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre adult workshop programme, and is suitable for ages 16+. All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
