About the event
Learn how 'The Lady of the North' was created, the work Northumberland Wildlife Trust is undertaking there, what wildlife we can find on the site and how you can help protect it. Taking a step outside to support our health, wellbeing and happiness.
This is an outdoor event. We will be walking to the head of the Lady, please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Walking boots or sturdy shoes with grip advisable. No dogs please. Age 16+.
Cultivate and connect
This Mental Health Awareness Week (12-18 May), join us in embracing the therapeutic benefits of nature to nurture both body and mind. CNTW Charity have partnered with Northumberland Wildlife Trust to offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in the outdoors through two events designed to connect with and learn about nature and local wildlife.
Socialising in nature can benefit both physical and mental health. People with nature on their doorstep are more active, mentally resilient and have better all-round health.
These sessions provide the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, reflect and reset.
