On October 30th, Northumberland Wildlife Trust is hosting a free Halloween storytelling extravaganza all made possible by the mysterious power of Zoom.

At 10am, 12pm or 2pm kids between 4 - 12 years of age need to don their witch’s hats, climb into their scariest costumes, grab a beaker of bat juice and tune in to hear local storyteller Jim Grant tell his wonderful stories full of mystery and adventure.

Each session will be packed with 30 minutes of engaging and interactive tales, and rumour has it Dracula himself might also be making a rare daytime appearance - so keep an eye open for him before he flies back to his castle in Transylvania.

Local storyteller Jim, a former primary school teacher, enjoys telling stories that demonstrate humanity’s dependence on nature, and stories from around the world, bringing various cultures together to reveal a new dimension of storytelling.

He tells them in a wide range of settings from hillsides, sitting in a circle at school, round a fireside even in a castle! So where will he be for this one? Tune in and find out.

The event is free but donations are most welcome. Visit www.nwt.org.uk/events/2020-10-30-halloween-storytelling to reserve your place.
