About the event

Join us for a volunteering afternoon in the beautiful Jesmond Dene to complete some practical tasks 🪴🌳

We have teamed up with Newcastle City Council to have young people focused volunteering sessions. Book on if you want to make a difference in a local park and meet some like-minded people🧑‍🤝‍👨Help support the rangers with the upkeep of the park, cutting back growth, and keeping paths clear for visitors to enjoy.

This event will be a practical hands on volunteering session where we may use tools which will all be provided. Please wear footwear for uneven ground and closed toe shoes with sturdy ankle! For 16-24 year olds, any one aged 17 or under will need parental permission to book on. No previous experience is needed and tools/PPE will be provided. The only essential requirement is a willingness to work hard as part of a team! You may like to bring snacks and bottle of water with you however there is a café on site. Toilets are available in the café.
