About the event

Take part in a range of exciting activities provided by NWT and local partner organisations, including minibeast hunts, bushcraft, survival skills, and nature-based craft. 

Whether you are a seasoned explorer or new to nature, there is something for everyone! Double up on the fun at the nearby Pets' Corner and children's playground, or enjoy a stroll through the beautiful Jesmond Dene along the Ouse Burn river.

Open to all the family, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Refreshments and toilets will be available at Millfield House.
