About the event

Join  archaeologists on our discovery walk of an iron age hillfort and even older rock art. Learn about the history of the fort and ponder the purpose of ancient rock markings. Want to become an archaeologist? Try your hand at surveying an iron age roundhouse using authentic equipment and methods!

TERRAIN: EASY. The walk takes place on unpaved and uneven paths at Lordenshaw hillfort including grassy slopes and ramparts.
