About the event

This data is important to marine conservation, building an understanding of the life we have and its abundance across the North East. This activity helps to inform the work of the DEFRA funded 'Flood and Coastal Resilience Programme'.

No prior experience is needed. Join our training sessions to build an understanding of how to conduct the survey before you join us on the coast, and how to identify some of the more common species that you will likely come across.

Age 16+. Under 18 accompanied by a responsible adult.
