About the event

Swifts are amazing birds that make the journey from the Savannas and forests of Equatorial and Southern Africa to our city and others.

The walk will be lead by Adam Raitr who is a local swift expert and is leading the charge with swift surveys in Heaton this year.

Meeting at Kenton Crescent (what3words///hulk.models.names) at 21:00, we will (hopefully) see the nesting swifts fly above us feeding on insects, returning to the meeting point for 22:15.

Everyone is welcome, children must be accompanied.
