iNaturalist is the world's most popular nature survey app, used by beginners and expert ecologists of all ages. It allows you to photograph, locate and identify plants and creatures with the help of artificial intelligence. Your sighting is then verified by a global online community. 

To learn or improve your iNaturalist skills using the popular iNaturalist app, you will need a smart phone with a camera and access to the internet. This workshop starts indoors learning how to use the app including hints and tips on improving your photography and ID skills, and we then go outside to find and record some nature. If possible, please install the iNaturalist app onto your phone before attending. If your App Store has more than one version, you can install either.

TERRAIN: EASY. The workshop takes place indoors and then along some unpaved tracks. Please note our toilets have a step and paths are uneven gravel and grass.
