About the event

Aimed at home educated children 7-10yrs and their families.

We'll look at bushcrafts with hands-on activities such as rope making and knots, and learn about the risks and rewards of campfires.

There are toilets on site. Staff are DBS checked, First Aid and Food Safety trained. Children must be accompanied please and supervised 1:1 near the fire. Younger/Older siblings not taking part are still welcome too. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies/intolerances/requirements.

We encourage walking, cycling and public transport. The site is approximately 15-minutes walk from Regent Centre metro and bus station, and Stagecoach buses 30, 31, 35, 7 and 6 stop a 5-minute walk away. Our car park is very small and often full. If you need to drive, but can’t get parked, there is a Pay & Display car park to the right of the Royal Mail office, or please park responsibly on nearby residential streets e.g. Wall Street NE3 3XD or Prince’s Meadow NE3 4RZ areas. Parking elsewhere in hospital grounds may incur a fine.
